On Day 21 of their epic expedition along the Great Himalayan Trail, a courageous team of 12 Nepali women trekkers has reached the remote Makalu region in Sankhuwasabha district.
Their journey spans a total of 1,700 kilometers through Nepal’s rugged Himalayan belt, which they aim to complete in 115 days. This bold adventure not only showcases their physical endurance but also symbolizes empowerment and resilience in Nepal’s highlands.
The team continues to inspire as they trek deeper into the heart of the Himalayas.
